When you set up your business, you choose a reply style. This tells ChatCopilot what kind of transactions your business handles, so it knows how to close conversations — whether that means taking an order, booking a time, or scheduling a visit.
The three reply styles
We deliver to the customer
The AI takes orders and collects delivery details. When a customer is ready to buy, it asks for their name, address, and order details. Best for: shops, restaurants, bakeries, boutiques, gift sellers, electronics.
We take appointments
The AI books a date and time for the customer. It confirms the appointment and stores the booking. Best for: clinics, salons, tutors, consultants, fitness trainers.
We visit the customer
The AI books a service visit at the customer's location. It collects their address and preferred time. Best for: AC repair, plumbing, home cleaning, broadband installation, home services.
How to change your reply style
- Go to Business in the left sidebar.
- Click Edit on your business.
- Select a new reply style under Closing style.
- Click Save.
Tip
Choose the style that matches most of your transactions. If your business does both delivery and appointments, pick the one that covers the majority of orders.
